Community-owned ACE, the Public Alliance for Community Energy, will again participate as a natural gas supplier in the Nebraska Choice Gas selection period, which begins April 1 and runs through April 21.
The Choice Gas program allows customers on the Black Hills Energy distribution system to choose their natural gas supplier for the gas year, which runs June 1-May 31. ACE, the only not-for-profit, community-owned supplier in the program, encourages consumers to actively choose their natural gas supplier during the three-week selection period.
ACE has participated as a natural gas supplier in the Choice Gas program every year since its start in the late 1990s and has returned more than $3.3 million to its 75 member communities for the betterment of each community, including $200,000 distributed earlier this year.
ACE encourages customers to be informed of the variety of pricing options from the suppliers in the program so they can choose a natural gas rate and pricing option that best suits them.
Customers can choose ACE online at ACEenergy.org or by calling (800) 454-4759. Answers to common questions and explanations of pricing options are also on the website. Residents are encouraged to sign up to follow ACE on Facebook and Twitter to receive the latest information regarding natural gas prices and information.
